The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has purchased 68 acres, of which 50 acres are mature northern hardwood forest, in Wauwatosa, north of Swan Boulevard and south of Underwood Parkway. This site provides the rare opportunity to help students experience an outdoor classroom as well as a “true” forest. The site will also serve to preserve urban green.
